BALLS HEAD RESERVE

Public BBQ

This park offers amazing views of the city, Bridge, and Opera House along with BBQ facilities, accessible toilets, and a nice track. It is a popular spot for watching NYE fireworks and the Australia Day Ferry race. The park has picnic tables, water fountains, and parking, although it can get busy during events. It is easily accessible with a 5-7 minute walk from Waverton train station. The park also features bush walks and is home to the Australian Water Dragon. However, some visitors have mentioned that the park may lack proper lighting at night.
