Black Mountain Peninsula is a popular destination for families and friends to gather and spend time together. The area offers multiple BBQ areas, picnic tables, and a playground suitable for all ages, including a Liberty Swing. There is a small beach for children to swim, and kayaking activities are also available. Visitors report that the park is well-maintained, with good facilities, including toilets, bins, and water taps. Parking is available, and the park is also suitable for walking or sitting to admire the view. The area can get busy during summer weekends, and some of the BBQ spots may not always be functional.
