DEMPSTER PARK

Public BBQ

This suburban park offers a welcoming atmosphere with a strong sense of community, perfect for watching local footy games like the entertaining match between North Sunshine Roadrunners and Laverton Magpies. It's a dog-friendly area, where well-behaved pets are welcome with their owners. The park features a pleasant gravel walking track around the ground, though it can become muddy in heavy rain. Despite the need for upgrades, including a bigger scoreboard and improved fencing, the park remains a popular spot. Recent efforts to resurface the field show promise for the upcoming football season. However, some areas are in dire need of attention, with outdated facilities and occasional litter issues. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy sports, walk dogs, and engage in outdoor activities.
