IVANHOE PARK

Public BBQ

This park provides a medium-sized, vibrant playground, catering primarily to young children. It boasts a variety of play equipment including a tunnel slide, two toddler swings, normal swings, a bird nest swing, a flying fox, and musical chimes and drums. Also available are a rock climbing wall, a seesaw, a spinner, and a large climbing net. For more adventurous spirits, there are monkey bars, a rope bridge, and a basketball court. The park also features a unique Senior's activity area, earning particular appreciation for its inclusivity. Clean facilities, drinking taps, tables with bench seats (including a sheltered one), and a big oval add to the amenities. Public toilets are available, albeit a short walk away from the playground. BBQ facilities under a seating area offer a convenient spot for family get-togethers or children's parties. However, if one is willing to travel a bit further, Hays Paddock is suggested as a superior alternative.
