Public BBQ

Lilydale Lake is a popular destination for families and individuals alike, offering a variety of amenities and activities for all ages. The lake is surrounded by a 2.5km walking/cycling track, making it a great place for exercise, dog walking, and bird watching. There are also picnic areas, BBQ facilities, and clean public restrooms available. For children, there is a large playground with swings, climbing structures, slides, and a water play area with sprinklers and fountains. The park is wheelchair and pram friendly, and there is also an off-leash area for dogs. The lake is a favorite spot for kayaking, and there is ample parking and a boat ramp. There are also food and drink options available, including food trucks and coffee vans on weekends. However, parking may be limited on busy days.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
