MOONEE BEACH

Public BBQ

Moonee Beach Day Use Park is a highly recommended location, offering much to see and do for everyone. The park boasts a nature boardwalk, a river, and the ocean. It's a brilliant spot to relax, switch off, and even fall asleep in the tranquil surroundings. This beautiful beach is family-friendly, with calm waters during high tide ideal for little ones. The area provides excellent BBQ facilities, and the park is dog-friendly, though visitors should be aware of fox baits in the area. Activities such as swimming, fishing, and kayaking are possible, and the presence of harmless stingrays adds to the charm. Be aware of the current heading out to sea, and always stay within your comfort zone. Despite the occasional issue of litter left behind by visitors and the occasional dog mess, this picturesque location is a must-visit, offering peace, tranquillity, and a great spot for families and kids to enjoy.
