PARADISE BEACH RESERVE

Public BBQ

Sanctuary Point, nestled on the edge of St Georges Basin, offers an inviting retreat with its serene views and calm, shallow waters. It's a popular spot for water activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing. The area also accommodates dog walking and is ideal for children's play due to its shallow bay. The place is equipped with a playground, an exercise area, seating, and picnic shelters, making it a perfect spot for family outings. With easy access to shops and food, it's convenient for visitors to sit, relax, and enjoy their time. The walking track around the lake offers stunning sunset views. However, maintenance could be improved, particularly regarding the seaweed and toilet cleanliness. Despite some flood damage, the site remains a beautiful bayside reserve.
