RED HILL STATION RESERVE

Public BBQ

The reserve has undergone significant transformations, evolving from a dark, pine-covered area with dirt tracks and BMX jumps into a well-equipped recreational space. It now features an expanded parking area on Callanans Road and a covered area that includes BBQ facilities, picnic tables, and accessible toilets. A new playground caters to both imaginative and adventurous play, complete with swings. Additionally, the reserve honors its history with a war memorial, recognition of the original Red Hill-Bittern railway, and the original Red Hill fire station. Information boards provide valuable maps and historical insights, including indigenous heritage, making it an educational spot as well.
