Rummery Park campground is a beautiful and lush campground surrounded by wildlife. It offers various walking tracks, including a 2km hike to a stunning waterfall. The campsite has basic drop toilets and a sink for handwashing. The kookaburras can be mischievous and may steal food if given the chance. The drive to the campground can be bumpy with potholes, so it's advisable to have an off-ground vehicle. The campgrounds are close together and don't offer much privacy. It's recommended to bring your own water as there is no running water on-site. Fire pits and BBQ sections are available, but they may not be usable during rainy weather. Leeches can be found in the area, so wearing long clothes and bringing salt is suggested. The booking system can be flawed, as some campers may take unreserved spots. Despite its drawbacks, Rummery Park campground is a decent option in the northern rivers region with its beautiful surroundings and proximity to Whian Whian Falls.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
