For those who enjoy fishing, it's a pretty good spot, particularly off Scott's Point during half tides. The area is also a haven for bird watchers, with diverse birdlife spotted often. The beach has clean amenities, plenty of tables and chairs for picnics, and off-street parking. The beach is easily accessible, with a concrete stairway leading down to the water.
