SIMPSON PARK

Public BBQ

The park is a charming and well-maintained spot, perfect for a picnic or a brief rest. It boasts a stunning Aboriginal mural and numerous QR codes that share the cultural history of the area. Facilities are comprehensive, with clean restrooms, ample picnic tables, BBQs, and a well-kept grassy area. There are plenty of trees providing shade, making it a pleasant place even on sunny days. Kids can enjoy the playground, though it mainly features swings and some unique climbing equipment. The park is conveniently located near the railway station, offering easy access and parking. However, it's worth noting occasional council work and magpie swooping warnings.
