SWEENEY RESERVE

Public BBQ

This expansive reserve is a hub of recreational activities for the local community. It features varied terrain and offers facilities for a wide range of outdoor sports, including tennis, footy, cricket, soccer, softball, and netball. The playground keeps kids entertained and the area is also known for its dog-friendliness, with the provision that pets are kept on a leash. The reserve encompasses scenic walking trails and paths. There's a pleasant lake area, perfect for summer duck feeding, and a gated play area for toddlers. The park is generally well-maintained, but could benefit from regular grass cutting and better waste management. Despite its size, parking might be an issue during peak times. Absence of drinking taps and toilets might be inconvenient for some visitors. Nonetheless, it is a great space for family outings, sports, and nature walks, offering something for everyone.
