TIDAL RIVER CAMPGROUND

Public BBQ

Tidal River Campsite is a popular campground located next to Tidal River and Norman Beach. It features numerous unpowered campsites, limited powered campsites, cabins, and group lodges. The campground has excellent amenities, including hot showers, toilets, washing machines, family toilets/showers, BBQ and picnic tables, a general store, and a cafe. The area offers stunning scenery, easy access to the river and beach, and various outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and walking trails. It is particularly known for its friendly wildlife, such as wombats and wallabies. However, campfires and coal BBQs are not allowed, as it is located within a national park. While some sites are better than others, overall, visitors find Tidal River Campsite to be well-maintained, clean, and close to nature. It is an ideal destination for a getaway, particularly for those interested in exploring the natural beauty of Wilson's Promontory.
