WESTPORT RESERVE

Public BBQ

Westport Reserve is a calm reserve that offers a long stretch of grass, with bushes separating the road from the bike path. It has a playground and some bins available for public use. The nearby off-leash dog beach is enjoyed by both dogs and their owners, and the area also features easy parking and great cycling, skating, and walking tracks. The beach is clean and offers beautiful sand bays with lots of shells, fisherman sitting on the rocks, and a small park/reserve. There are also benches, a shower, and water refill stations available. The beach is perfect for a run, cycling, or simply relaxing and enjoying the views of the city and the pier. Keep in mind that during hot summer days, it might be too hot for dogs on the beach and there may not be any taps available.
