WHISTLESTOP RESERVE PLAYGROUND

Public BBQ

This park, once a failed amusement project in the 70s, has beautifully transformed into a cherished local green space. It offers a quaint playground for children, complete with adventure elements and ample grassy areas for picnics and relaxation. The park is also dog-friendly, featuring an off-leash area, albeit unfenced, with provisions like poop bags. Visitors enjoy basketball on a half court, and paths wend through native plantings that attract wildlife like Wood Ducks and lorikeets. Despite its many amenities, including picnic tables and water stations, the park lacks public toilets, a minor inconvenience against its tranquil backdrop.
